The ‘Technical’ is probably the most recognisable and prevalent vehicle used in modern warfare. Having been used in one form or another for decades - it’s reliability and relative ease of production have ensured its place on the battlefield for irregular and regular forces.
Whether you are building a Militia hastily equipped techncial, or a high-spec Special Forces technical - this is the place to start!
The base for every Technical is a vehicle with a flatbed. Usually this is a picup truck, but with a little bit of modelling, even a HMV can be turned into a heavy weapons platform!
These weapons systems are mainly used by insurget forces. You'll find a real mix of light and extremely heavy weapons here, including the classic DShK and ZSu-23 anti aircraft autocannons.
These weapons systems are reserved for regular and Special Forces. You'll find all the classics, such as the minigun and M2 .50 cal, as well as some really specialist wepaons, such as the Vampire smart missle system.
To add some finishing touches to your technicals, you can add stowage and crew. While not essential, these add some nice visual touches to the vehicle.
