SAS CQB Element
This team is kitted out for CQB. Speed is vital to success, whether the mission is hostage rescue, counter terrorism and high value target kill/capture.
Each operator is equipped with the new KS-1 rifle, which has raised optics for increased situational awareness and more natural firing position. Some utilise a Hydra mount, which moves a significant amount of weight away from the barrel, allowing for faster manipulation of the weapon.
Each operator wears a variety of kit to suit their personal preferences. Minimal magazines are carried as operations are not expected to be prolonged. Glock sidearms are worn and fragmentation, smoke and flash grenades are carried - along with a selection of knives, zip cuffs and glow stick markers.
